What happens to a car when it is no longer needed?
Did you know that an old car is not scrap metal, because it contains hazardous substances?
Proper action gives many materials a second life! 🌱
SIA “Auto pārstrāde” invites students to take part in a creative competition and show how a car is recycled and what happens to it after it enters recycling.
YOUR TASK
Create a creative poster or illustration showing:
🔹 what happens to a car after it is sent for recycling;
🔹 how its parts and materials are recycled;
🔹 how recycled materials can get a new life.
Show the process in your own way – draw, illustrate, imagine, and surprise us! 🤩
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Our goal is to promote students’ understanding of car recycling, the circular economy, and responsible resource use, while also allowing them to express their creativity.

T-shirts for the whole class with your own designed artwork and invitations for the whole class to Auto2027 - the exhibition in Ķīpsala, which will take place from April 16 to 18, 2027. - 2ND PLACE
Invitations to the Riga Motor Museum for the whole class. - 3RD PLACE
Invitations to the Riga Zoo for the whole class.
