SIA "Auto pārstrāde" was founded in 2004.
Since 2005, SIA "Auto pārstrāde" has been cooperating with several car manufacturers (BMW, VW, General Motors, etc.), jointly ensuring compliance with EU legislation requirements. To ensure successful cooperation, the necessary license and Category B permit were obtained, and contracts were signed with the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) and the State Environmental Service.
In 2012, in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 361 of 22.05.2012 “Regulations on the Application of the Natural Resources Tax to Vehicles,” based on the end-of-life vehicle (ELV) collection network (operating since 2005), SIA "Auto pārstrāde" established the End-of-Life Vehicle Management System. Currently, based on cooperation agreements, more than 40 companies in Latvia are involved in the management system, ensuring the possibility of recycling all end-of-life vehicles in Latvia.
